David Hockney Reveals New Stained-Glass Work

David Hockney recently revealed his newest artwork, a stained-glass window celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s reign. The window, surprisingly designed using only an iPad, was unveiled at Westminster Abbey. The design of the window was defended as being accessible and readable in a way more “intense” stained-glass windows surrounding it are not. Regardless, the window adds a new novel addition to Hockney’s LA-based oeuvre.
