Our next project, which is related to coding and processing, reminded me of artwork created by software and digital programming. I first saw them through images of printed coding art installed in a gallery. I was captivated by the idea of creating dream-like, surrealistic images through such a complicated process. I was searching through the Internet, and I found Casey Reas, a digital media artist and the co-founder of Processing. Casey Reas used programming and software to create intricate images, manipulating both organic and acute shapes into his work. Reas’ works include different installations, such as digital murals. Here are some of the works that he created by writing software and Processing.
